After two fiercely fought rounds, the field of sixteen has been reduced to the final four. This year's
tournament finalists are James, Pascal, Patrick, and Rich. We will either crown a new champion or we
will have a three-time, that's THREE-TIME, champion! We also have the longest shot in play... James
pegged Rich at 32 to 1, and it's the second year in a row that he's had to sweat out a potential huge
payout. At least this year he's in the finals, so he can somewhat mitigate his chances of paying Rich
$320! (Hmmm, I smell a huge whiff of conflict of interest here... hehe!) Numbers will be posted in the near future for those who want to marvel at all the data. |
| The schedule for the first and second rounds of the World Series of Mah-Jong VII will begin at 3:00pm Sunday, February 15, 2004. Pascal's parents have been gracious enough to offer their home once again. So get ready for some fun and some smack talk! |
| Once again, James, aka "Jimmy the Greek," has posted up his odds for this year's tournament. Go check it out and decide who are the favorites and who are the dark horses! Click on this link to read all about it! |
| Paul has mentioned that Pascal's parents have once again offered up their home as the site of the WSoMJ. This time, we would play upstairs instead. Paul has also suggested that we start promptly at 2:30pm, giving Eric enough time to come over after work. Further details to come... |
